This week's skies build toward a powerful Full Moon in Aquarius on Wednesday, July 29, igniting the far-reaching energies of the "cradle" configuration formed by Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto that is reshaping our world. The lunation arrives with the Moon just two degrees from Pluto and the Sun nearly touching Jupiter, amplifying themes of legal and ethical confrontation, revelations of corruption, and a dramatic struggle for power. At the same time, this Full Moon ushers in Eclipse Season — a six-week window of fated completions, course corrections, and extraordinary collective change. Grounding, self-care, and an open heart will be essential companions as we navigate these intense and history-making energies.
In This Week's Astrological Forecast:
- Wednesday's Full Moon in Aquarius supercharges the history-making cradle configuration of Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto — expect dramatic revelations and power struggles on the world stage.
- Eclipse Season officially begins this week, opening a six-week window of fated shifts, karmic completions, and profound collective course corrections.
- Sun, Venus, and Mars form tense angles mid-week, stirring conflicts between differing perspectives — especially across gender lines — and pushing legal or ethical disputes to a critical point.
- The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon speaks of "a child born out of an egg" — a cosmic invitation to witness the emergence of a new kind of humanity, free from the inertia of the past.
- Thursday offers the week's best window for calm conversation and strategic thinking, while Saturday's Mercury-Uranus aspect brings nervous energy and the potential for communications to go off-track.

LUNA ROCKS THE CRADLE: The Full Moon this Wednesday reactivates the effects of the "cradle" configuration of planets that perfected last week, both highlighting its purposes and illuminating its potential longer-term outcomes. The dynamic impacts of that configuration—which combines the energies of expansive Jupiter, revolutionary Uranus, idealistic Neptune, and transformational Pluto—will continue to be a strong influence in our individual and collective lives for at least three more weeks, until Jupiter moves out of range of its aspects to the three transpersonal planets.
The current lunar cycle reaches its climax at 7:35 a.m. PDT on July 29, when the Moon is at 06°30' Aquarius, opposite the Sun at the same degree of Leo. At the time of the lunation, the Moon is separated by only two degrees from Pluto, and the Sun is only five arc minutes away from Jupiter. Thus, we are likely to see a powerful activation of the Jupiter-Pluto opposition, with its manifestations of legal, moral, and ethical confrontations; revelations of corruption; and a dramatic grasping for power and control.
Grounding and self-care are very important as we work with the energies of the Full Moon, due to the Sun and Moon both being square Chiron in Taurus. External events could trigger insecurities about our material or financial stability, anxiety about not having the physical safety and support we need. As always with Chiron aspects, the fears that arise are an indicator of our inner child's need to feel held, understood, and loved.
SABIAN SYMBOL: The uplifting Sabian symbol for the Full Moon inspires hope about the deep level of change currently underway and reminds us that all is being guided by a benefic cosmos: "A child is seen being born out of an egg; the emergence of new mutations according to the great rhythms of the universe."
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar expands on the meanings of this symbolic image in his book An Astrological Mandala: "Here we see the appearance of a new type of human being who is not born from 'Ancestors' and therefore is free from the inertia of humankind's past. This new being constitutes a fresh projection of the creative Spirit that emanates from the cosmic or planetary Whole, and not from any local cultural or racial tradition. This stage of the cycle announces the Emergence of Global Human for the New Age."
ECLIPSE SEASON BEGINS: With this Wednesday's Full Moon, we also enter Eclipse Season, a time when significant shifts always occur. The first eclipse of the season is a Total Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 12, followed by a Partial Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 28.
These next six weeks, especially since they overlap with the effects of the history-making cradle configuration, promise to be memorable. We can expect major completions, clearings, and course corrections that seem fated or karmic, which then open the door to a new future for humanity. And even though the Lunar Eclipse at the end of August is a partial event, it is likely to have very strong impact since the Sun and Moon will be exactly square radical, liberating Uranus.
DAILY ASPECTS THIS WEEK (July 27 to August 2, 2026):
ASPECTS THIS WEEK: Here are my brief interpretations of this week's most important aspects, day by day:
Monday
Sun trine Neptune, Sun sextile Uranus: The Leo Sun activates and brings dramatic expression to the effects of the cradle configuration in the days leading up to the Full Moon. Sol opposed Pluto yesterday (July 26), trines Neptune and sextiles Uranus today, and will conjoin Jupiter on Wednesday the 29th.
Venus sesquiquadrate Pluto: Relationships and alliances may be undergoing deep changes at this time. Trust issues could surface, emotions might be hard to contain, and secrets could be revealed.
Tuesday-Wednesday
Sun semisquare Venus, Venus square Mars, Sun semisquare Mars: Differing perspectives—especially between the genders—are highlighted with these aspects, making it hard to find common ground. With the demonstrative Leo Sun adding its voice to any conflicts, dramas may be hard to avoid.
Sun conjunct Jupiter, Venus semisquare Jupiter, Mars semisquare Jupiter: Disagreements could turn into battles of beliefs or ethics, with some being excessively self-righteous or dogmatic. Legal issues may come to a critical or crisis point at this time.
Full Moon: The lunar cycle that began at the New Moon on July 14 reaches its dramatic climax at 7:35 a.m. PDT today, when the Moon is at 06°30' Aquarius and the Sun is at the same degree of Leo.
Thursday
Mars sextile Pallas Athena: Of all the days this week, today may be the best for conversations and negotiations; we have greater confidence, are better able to speak calmly and to strategize, and can also tap into our higher wisdom.
Friday
No major aspects are exact today.
Saturday
Mercury semisquare Uranus: Nervous energy is heightened today. Communications may go off-track or be interrupted, and some may react defensively.
Sunday
